In  1836  two good friends,   William  Burchell,-  a botanist,-  and major  Cornwallis  Harris, “ sheared hart and purse”, and  set out from the Cape Colony  in their “cape-wagons”, on the first “white mans safari ” – a generation or more before the legendary expeditions of David Livingstone,  John Speke,  Richard Burton and  Samuel Baker.

“Classic safari “ -the noble sport of travelling - has fascinated generations of  adventurers, and I am  one of the priviledged  successors , following, for more than  25 years,   the trace  and tracks of  the great safaris across the savannah in Kenya and Tanzania, penetrating the rainforests

of  Uganda,- treking“die basweld “ in South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia,-  and maybe “most  value for time and money invested”- on a genuine  “Marka-Safari Classic  in  “the green hills of  Oslo- marka”-

the  vast forest areas  surrounding the Norwegian capital.  Together we still can feel  the  witchcraft of the wilderness... and  the atmosphere of  the classic safari...- outdoor adventures,- “walking safaris”,- “game-drives by landrovers”,- “night-safaris” “tracking & birdwatching”...and relax in the  wilderness in my “bushcamp”, or in “the safari-lodge “...
